A few weeks ago I wrote about my
great concern with moving back and working again in the community in which I grew up. It only took two shifts at this station for me to encounter a patient that I know. While it is very nice to hear a husband say to his wife "Oh thank goodness its MedicMatthew that's here!" and it warms my heart to know that I'm able to provide some level of comfort to people with my presence, lets hope this doesn't become a trend.

I don't know anyone in my small county that I work in, but I'm running into patients/families over and over... Definitely a huge downer.... Even worse after a bad accident or a code.
Oh, and I'm soooo sick of every time the sirens come by everyone asking me about "what happened to so and so?"
